Claudia De La Hoz is a French-Colombian visual artist, living and working in Paris, France. Her work explores inner healing through color and emotional memory.

After studying art history at the Sorbonne, she turned to interior architecture, learning to shape spaces the way one shapes intimate sanctuaries. Color, subtle yet ever-present, has always guided her path, slipping into her projects like a quiet breath, a gentle pulse.

During the confinement, the world’s silence opened into a space of revelation. Painting emerged as a vital need — a passage inward. This is how “Les Jardins Secrets” was born, a cathartic series in which Claudia released her inner turbulence, her questions, and her growing fascination with the human brain and neuroscience — a way to understand her emotions, reclaim them, and move through depression toward light.

Her work is an ode to nature, to human sensitivity, and to the restorative power of color. Using acrylic, oil pastels, ink, watercolor, and oil paint, she lets her emotions speak freely, through a fluid and liberating technique.
Pink, in all its shades, becomes her emotional guide — a mediator that connects the visible and the invisible, that soothes and elevates.

Rooted in her Colombian heritage, nature flows through her imagination: under her brush, trees transform into dreamlike figures, delicate, almost vanishing — soft presences like wisps of cotton candy, reminding us that healing often arrives as a breath.
